How ABB handles client, candidate, and hiring-process data used to source, screen, compare, shortlist, onboard, and support remote talent.
Data handling overview. This page explains how hiring data moves through ABB workflows so clients and candidates understand the practical boundaries around access, use, retention, and service providers.
Hiring data we handle
ABB workflows may involve client briefs, role requirements, candidate profiles, resumes, portfolios, interview notes, screening signals, compensation planning context, onboarding details, and communications between ABB, clients, and candidates.
We collect and organize this information to help clients evaluate fit, compare options, coordinate next steps, and support the hiring relationship without treating website content as a final employment, payroll, tax, or legal determination.
Access and permissions
Access to hiring data is intended to be limited to ABB personnel, authorized contractors, and service providers who need it to support sourcing, screening, candidate review, onboarding, account support, or business operations.
Internal notes, candidate materials, client requirements, and sensitive workflow details should be handled through approved systems and should not be shared outside the hiring process unless required for the engagement or permitted by the relevant party.
Service providers and transfers
Because ABB works with global clients and global talent, information may be processed through cloud software, communication tools, recruiting systems, analytics providers, document tools, payroll or contract support partners, and other operational vendors.
When information moves across borders or through third-party systems, ABB aims to use appropriate contractual, organizational, and technical controls based on the nature of the data and the service being provided.
Retention and requests
ABB keeps hiring and business records only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, the client relationship, candidate consideration, operational support, legal obligations, dispute prevention, or legitimate business needs.
Clients and candidates may contact ABB about data updates, access, removal, or retention questions; requests are reviewed based on identity, role in the workflow, applicable law, and any active agreements.
